The Originale | 0.5L Tin × 3

The Originale is cold-pressed, extra virgin olive oil made from 3 olive varietals; Moraiolo, Frantoio, and Leccino. For us, this is the EVOO that started it all. In the mountains where we live, this blend has been made by farmers for centuries. It is the quintessential Umbrian olive oil.

Pairs well with vegetables and salads, grilled fish or white meat, steamed mussels, fresh cheese, and bread. It's sweeter flavor profile makes it ideal for baking.

Monocultivar | 0.5L Tin × 3

Olivando's Monocultivar is a medium intensity, peppery olive oil that finishes with spice. It's made from 100% moraiolo olives, considered among the most renowned varieties produced in Italy.

The Monocultivar pairs perfectly with bruschetta, earthy legume soups, stewed or roasted game, and blue fish. Try it on your T-bone, with rosemary and fresh ground pepper.

The Originale is cold-pressed, extra virgin olive oil made from a blend of 3 different olives; Moraiolo, Frantoio, and Leccino. It’s intensely herbaceous, bright, and alive with a harmony of tomato, apple, and fresh cut grass. For us, this is the EVOO that started it all. In the mountains where we live, this blend has been made by farmers for centuries. It is the quintessential Umbrian olive oil.

 

Monocultivar or monovarietal means that only one single olive variety was used in making the extra virgin olive oil. Our Monocultivar is made from 100% Moraiolo olives, considered among the most renowned varieties produced in Italy. The Moraiolo olive tree is indigenous to central Italy, requires hilly terrain, and is best suited for mountain climates. We harvest early when the olives contain the highest level of polyphenols, which contributes to its spicy bitterness.
